CapitaFood was founded on a clear opportunity: Indonesia's approval as Singapore's 18th SFA-accredited egg source country in 2023 opened a significant new supply corridor. With over 5 million tonnes of annual egg production and geographic proximity to Singapore, Indonesia represents the ideal sourcing partner for businesses looking to diversify and strengthen their supply chains.
But accessing Indonesian supply is not straightforward. Navigating SFA accreditation requirements, coordinating veterinary documentation with Indonesian authorities, establishing relationships with reliable farms, and building logistics corridors requires deep expertise and local relationships.
